Vicaso doesn't require that you are already a professional real estate photographer, but it can only help your chances of becoming a part of the team. At minimum, we do require that you have your own gear, a great attitude, and you can learn quickly following the basic training that we give you.
You will be providing your own equipment. A professional-grade DSLR or mirrorless camera, a lens that can photograph at ~24mm wide, memory card(s), a sturdy tripod, and reliable transportation.
Every job at Vicaso is different depending on the requirements from the client. So, instead of a flat hourly rate, we pay out 30% of every job to the photographer. We handle all of the marketing, all of the sales, all of the client communication, and all of the editing and delivery. You simply show up, photograph the property, upload the RAW images into the system, and you're done. Easy.
It depends entirely on how good you are. We don't want the clients feeling like you are rushing through, and every job is different, but we expect an average shoot time around 30-60 minutes. Some jobs may even be faster.
At the moment, most Vicaso clients are listing agents and real estate brokerages, but Vicaso has also been known to create content for short term rental properties, hotels, and similar types of clients.
After submitting your application, basic training (online) will be provided to you. After receiving the training, you will be required to complete a test shoot (could be your own residence to be simple). You will follow the steps required, and if passed, you will then become an official Vicaso photographer and be ready to accept work in your geographic area.
